The 'upside down` properties were converted from  a 17^th century stone barn which used to be used as stables and a cider barn (hence the names of the cottages!) and still maintain a wealth of the original features.

The barn has been divided into two units -

The Cider Barn - comprises of one double bedroom with room for a cot or single zbed, bathroom which has a bath with shower over, and separate toilet downstairs. A half landing leads through the original Cider Press into the double aspect fully equipped kitchen / diner with stairs leading to the first floor sitting room  and first floor access to the outside area. ln the sitting room is a leather bed settee which makes the cottage suitable for 4 guests including children.

The Stables -  comprises of two bedrooms, one  double bedroom  with room for a cot or single zbed and one twin room also with room for a cot, and bathroom downstairs with stairs leading up to the large open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen /diner ,sitting room, upstairs toilet and first floor access to the outside area. ln the sitting room one of the leather settees is a bed settee which makes the cottage suitable for 6 guests including children.

The connection door upstairs means that both cottages can be let as one for larger groups of up to 10 guests.

Both cottages have vaulted ceilings giving them a light and spacious feel. Electric wood burners and under floor heating to keep them warm and cosy and interiors that combine original features with contemporary furnishings. Both cottages are fully equipped with comprehensive kitchens including dishwashers and microwaves, bed linen, towels, TV's with freeview (Cbeebies ), video / DVD players, WIFI, CD players and have a selection of books and games .

Fully child friendly with everything from plug covers and stair gates to window catches and changing mats. We have a host of baby equipment: cots, highchairs, booster seats , plastic crockery, back packs , muddy buggies (for use on the farm), night lights, baby blenders, sterilisers, bath toys, baby baths, potties, toilet seats, children's toys and videos!

Both cottages lead out onto a their own decked veranda (the partition can be taken down when the cottages are let together) with patio furniture and barbecues, ample parking and shared fully enclosed grass garden with picnic table and washing line. There is an external laundry room with washing machine, tumble drier and lazy daisy. Also outdoor storage for bikes and muddy wellies and buggies!
